Blueberry Pancakes

Easy to make, delicious, thick and fluffy pancakes.

Anvisningar

  1. Place the egg yolks and milk in a large bowl, sift over the flour, caster sugar and salt and mix well.
  2. Whisk the egg whites in a clean grease-free bowl until they form soft peaks. Fold into the flour mixture. Gently stir in the blueberries.
  3. Heat a large, greased frying pan. Drop spoonfuls of the pancake mixture into the hot pan and cook until sides are crisp and golden.
  4. Turn over and cook further until golden. Transfer to a clean tea towel to keep warm.
  5. Cook the remaining batter in the same way.
  6. Serve the warm pancakes topped with syrup if desired.

Recensioner 
The recipe I am sure tastes great, but it does not count the calories of the " greased" frying pan, as the grease is not mentioned under ingredients. How does the Fatsecret editorial team accept this and other faulty recipes I have come across?

I have a few is this whole milk, skim milk, I would use almond milk and whole wheat flour.

Sounds good. But I can't have it on Atkins Phase 1

Very light and fluffy-yes! I used 2T honey for sugar (more calories but some say honey has a slimmming effect). added 2T chopped pecans. Used whole wheat flour. Recipe made 8 small pancakes. Figured one pancake at 125 cal. Plus syrup/butter
