Holding at 192.8. Think I might need to up my water intake. Will do that today, maybe shoot for 8 bottles of water instead of 6 today.
Made some excellent, albeit very spicy, turkey chili for dinner last night, served with a salad and some grapes for dessert. Very good. Will likely have some leftovers for lunch today. Tonight, chicken/bell peppers/onion stir fry.
No work out today, nothing unusual going on, should be a somewhat relaxing day....my daughter will be out a good portion of the day, I can do some writing or watch tv. These days are rare, I aim to enjoy it.

Not going to record a weight today, my scale seems to be all over the place. Stepped on it four times, different weight every time...some higher than yesterday, some lower. I have no idea. lol Maybe it's telling me I'm weighing too much and it's getting tired of it. lol
I was back on track yesterday, stuck to the plan. Had oatmeal with cinnamon and apples for breakfast, pita bread pizza and veggies/fruit for lunch, tilapia with brown rice and salad for dinner. Battling a toe injury (don't ask me how I did it, I am drawing a blank)...feared it might be broken, but I can wiggle it a little today so maybe just a bad sprain. I vaguely seem to remember stumping my toes against a door a few days back, but it didn't seem that bad at the time. Yesterday it was pretty bad, very red and swollen, couldn't move it at all. I still worked out, but it frequently reminded me it was there. Looking better today.

Okay, full confession time. lol My weight is 192.8 today, up .4 from yesterday. Honestly, I'm thrilled with that! I expect I probably have some water weight from the chips I ate at the shower, so to still be under 193 is fine by me. It's also 1.4 lbs under last Monday's weight. The shower was supposed to be two hours...I thought I could hang, I would be fine there and not have to eat anything. It dragged on for four hours! I ate a dinner roll with ham and cheese on it, a hand full of chex mix, and (now the bad stuff) a small piece of cake and some potato chips with onion dip. That's the bad. Now, the good. I am no longer accustomed to eating junk, so that crap made me feel really...icky (for lack of a better word). I didn't eat dinner after that, I didn't eat my usual popcorn evening snack. The party junk was all I ate in the afternoon, and I had only consumed about 700 calories all day before the party. I expected more of a spike today, actually, knowing it would be temporary. If this is my spike, meh...not so bad.
The interesting thing was my blood sugar. Most days the only time I am not in the normal range is when I first wake up, but on two occasions since I started testing it, I have consumed sweets. On both of those occasions, two hours after eating my blood sugar has still been higher than 140 (in the prediabes range). My body just does not handle sugar well at all. It reconfirms to me that my healthy eating plan is the way I need to be living, the best course for my well being.
All that behind me, today is a new day....worked out, had my oatmeal, planning parmesan crusted tilapia for dinner. It's a healthy day today!

More like it, 192.4 today! I am 8 lbs away from my low from last winter (and that was my lowest weight in probably 15 years). It is a little frustrating that I still don't lose much in the midsection...I am wearing larger clothing now than I did last time I was at this weight. Hopefully the fat in the middle will budge at some point.
I have to attend a baby shower this afternoon. Trying to avoid the food there is going to be a challenge. My menu for today only has around 1000 calories on it, so I have a little wiggle room should I decide to partake in a little snacking, but I'm hoping to avoid it if possible. As fate would have it, the party is during the time of day when I always seem to have an issue with hunger.
