Good morning gang. Still having internet issues at home, so sorry about being disconnected & sporadic, but on to today.
Showed up to work, beaten up & down trodden this morning. Then I signed on to enter my food / calories from dinner & breakfast. Low & behold, there is Victoria Egypt, swinging her lantern out over the mountain side with her journal entry from yesterday. It gave me a little boost. A spark to at least get the amber's of my dying fire re-lit this morning. And as I ventured into all the chatter I have been missing, there was my community of climbers all up & down the mountain side spreading support, knowledge, sympathy, lessons, learn, & just plain 'ole compassion.
I read many of your words over the past few days. Jillzee, Red, JMB, STT, Cat Herder, HCB, BB, Gwen, Ms. Bug, Pink, Victoria, Matt, Glen, Izzy, MeOhMy, Sugar Cat, Letty, Midnight Oil; there are so many & I am short on time, so please don't think I am leaving you out. I am just trying to make a point. You climbers, you legion of climbers are pulling my weight at this moment. You are keeping me abreast.
You legion of climbers of mountains are the secret to my success. You legion, builders of this community, are the reason this works. Your compassion, your insight, your knowledge, your light; provides the spark that shines through the darkness and penetrates the fog.
I often say, we are leaving no one behind. The truth in those words have never rang louder than in my my ears, when I was the one not being left behind. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed.
