Omigosh FatPolice when I read your entry I can sooo relate. I get so mad @ myself bc I do well during the week and undo my work on the weekends. Its so silly and annoying and frustrating and embarrasing bc I KNOW better!! So just know you're most definitely not alone :)

Talk about embarrassing T, last weekend I went up to 15000 something calories. I can't tell you how real my fear of the weekend is. In the week I am able to control my diet and calories but I undo all my hard work every weekend. This week I am determined to beat it. Kelykazeli advised me not to starve myself in the week so i don't go crazy on the weekend. This week I had a mid-week day where I ate 98% àf my RDI, (more than what I normally eat). But I am waiting to see if it will help.

Well I'm proud of you for logging all your calories! So do you eat way under your rdi during the week saving up for the weekend?

I used to eat less than my RDI, but it always ends up in a train wreck. I always plan to keep to my RDI but then it ends up triple the calories I plan to eat. I think it is because some foods trigger cravings and inability to control a binge. Once I start, I can't stop.During the week I am in control because i don't eat the trigger foods. On the weekends I relax my attitude to unhealthy foods. OMG. You have just helped me figure out my problem and solve it at the same time. STAY AWAY from trigger foods. An AHA moment!

Hey girl, completely understand! Weekends remain the worst for me too! My husband and I are big NASCAR fans, and every Sunday, it was lots of beer, wings, chips & dip, etc. Now, I sit and watch the pretty- colored cars go round, while my husband has a blast, I have salad, and Chrystal Light, hunph. I am going to reach my goal, and this is what it takes. My not be fun right now, but all those new clothes he is going to have to buy, sure will be!! :D

I think you had a great 'aha' FP. And I think you gave me one as well. I am ok as long as I stay away from the things I love --- everything bad. Once I start then I say oh well might as well eat what I want I messed up. I am trying to recognize that even if I have a bad meal it does not mean the whole day is wasted. Try to think of it in that way. And check in on the weekends, it helps!!!

Good job on the ephipany! Stay away from trigger foods! I think I am going to take your advice. I find the easiest way to stay on track on the weekend is to plan it ahead of time and don't deviate from the food plan. Just because it is free time doesn't mean you need to fall off of the wagon. Write it down today and then stick to the plan. If you can make it through the weekend, then treat yourself on Monday with something little (try to make it something other than food - a new lipgloss, an extra walk, ect.) Good Luck! and she is right, check in. It does help!
