Well, I was basically hired on the spot yesterday. I am going in today to learn the processes and paperwork.

It is not a replacement for my current job, though. Still, I think it will be easier now to suck it up at my other job. I will be able to displace my ego more. The new place is an assisted living started by a woman eleven years ago, and it is EXCELLENT.

I have worked for excellent employers in the past. This is the start of a great adventure ☺

Going out to dinner with family tonight for Hubby's birthday dinner. Haven't eaten yet today, and I plan to have a cactus flower - i.e. deep fried onion with horseradish sauce. Also want a house salad with Thousand Island dressing.

I turned down the offers of food from the new job. I didn't want to hurt their feelings, so I showed them my driver's license -- 50 pounds heavier. I got a hug and a high five. That was pretty nice.
