Need to do complex carbs. I eat a lot of them. Whole grains, potatoes, whole grain pasta, potatoes all colors.

My new Traeger hardwood pellet bbq does a wonderful job of potatoes with just a few spices. They don't need any butter. Becoming a favourite.

OK, question here. I have an awesome smoker. No separate section for the wood/charcoal. Do you think pellets would work for fuel and flavor? I love BBQ. It is heavy cast iron and has appropriate vents and several levels I can put fuel or liquid on. I can also adjust those levels.
