Been doing the two tablespoons of apple cider w 1 cup of grapefruit juice before each meal...and I have been taken cayenne pepper twice a day. Started a new job, so that kinda threw me off my walking but I plan to get back on that next week..(we also had rain for the last two weeks which prevented walking)...but I am optimistic and curious to see if these diet remedies actually work. We shall see. I am off the diet cokes totally..having an occaisional small coke instead. But drinking tons of water now..pissing like a racehorse..lol. Oh well.

Be very careful. I drank grapefruit juice just once a day for about 3 months, and I lost a lot of enamel off my teeth! Be sure you rinse thoroughly. Don't try to brush right after drinking the grapefruit juice, as that will cause more enamel to dissolve while it is in a weakened state. Of course, soft drinks are also bad for your teeth due to phosphoric acid. If you are taking any drug, the grapefruit juice can have an effect on it, too, causing it to be weaker or stronger.

I hadn't heard that about the teeth and grapefruit juice. I do know there are certain meds you cant drink grapefruit juice while on them, fortunately I am not on any of them. I did hear that is will weaken the potency of your vitamins. I am going to ask my pcp about that as that was news to me.
