OMG!!!
I knew it! My official weigh in day is every Monday but I felt heavier and couldn't wait and....sure enough, I gained 6.4 pounds since my last weigh in. I have been off the horse and it pisses me off!

I pulled some muscles doing lat pulldowns and bench presses and haven't had a single workout since. And with the extra hours I've to spend at work, I haven't even thought of anything nutritious to eat. Frankly, a drawback to my job is I take clients out to dinner or drinks; part of the job. But I did before as well and watched what I ate and drank. Maybe I let this getting hurt effect me too much and let it throw me off my routine which was going so great. FRICKIN EXCUSES! But I am reminded of what Zig Ziglar said..."It’s not what happens to you that matters. It’s how you respond to what happens to you that makes a difference." I will respond by doing it whatever way it takes.

I guess cardio for the next few weeks is the way I must go since the doc says that it will take 3 weeks. Ugh!!

So here I am 15 pounds higher than I was a couple of months ago but I have to get back on track. Maybe taking Part of Sunday to prepare on the go meals is something that I must do.

Yes - I make ahead a bunch of stuff on Sundays so I can quick eat on weekday evenings. I make mashed cauliflower and other vegetables ahead, and then just grill my protein when I get home. Microwave the vegetables and dinner is served!

You can do it. Its hard when our routine gets off but I have faith you will get back on track soon

I find that I do much better when I cook on Sunday's for the following week. You got this!

Sometimes hard when you are required to go out to eat. Do the best you can. I know my gym and exercise have been sabotaged lately by things I needed to do. life gets in the way sometimes.. just do the best you can.

Ask for soda water with lime or water with lemon instead of a drink. My soda water with lime used to work well when I had to attend lots of functions for business.

I agree, the drinks will take away any willpower you might have otherwise. At least that is what happens to me.

Right a couple of alcoholic drinks do me in as well. I end up eating stupidly
