40 hours of fasting and I only lose 0.2 lbs. Frustrating!

Huh! That doesn't seem right! I fast 40 hours almost every Wednesday- Thursday. I'm getting on the scale in a bit.... should be down 5 or more. (but will regain most of it when I eat later). Still helps me over the course of a week...

Yeah... I'm guessing I need to exercise more towards the end of my fast to take advantage of the ketosis.

I am trying to make it to 47 hours today. I will eat dinner tonight around 6. Last meal as Tuesday at 6:45 or so.. I was down 5 this morning. But will regain 3-4 by tomorrow morning. I am thinking of fasting or just one meal on Monday and Friday. I am still too high on calories..... (also I really need to add some strength training to build the muscle that has been lost - I'm a terrible procrastinator!!! Gah!) Have a great rest of the day! Oh - just had a thought- you may be way too low on calories! Your body might be in starvation mode! You won't lose weight unless your body knows there is weight to sacrifice. Maybe up your calories for a couple days and then fast to lose a bit!?!?
