For my first week using Fatsecret to track my macros and calorie deficit/surplus, I was trying to lose 1 pound per week. I lost 5 pounds the first week. Which surprised me makes me wonder if that was too fast. I am essentially trying to lose fat and gain/maintain muscle so I was focused on eating at least 1g of protein per pound of body weight. Which I did. We'll see how next week goes.
