Sooooo; i broke my own rule of NO CARBS two weekends ago! :( yep, and boy did it really prove a point!! point! that first week i did not lose an ounce! i had baked my son's white bread the weekend and to ensure it was "safe" for them i ate ONE slice of it; it was a reasonable size, not a thick slice, average with a thin layer of butter. yeah! still it made that big of a difference for me evidently!!! :( so, the following weekend in my feelings of failure and deprivation i decided to eat WHAT!?? YES! CHOCOLATE!! i had 6 squares and thought i felt satisfied. NOT! so later, when no one was looking (except for me!) i had 3 tsps of WHAT?? YES NUTELLA!!! (YES, I AM GERMAN!!) UGH!! Hateful beast that i am, i believe that i'm justified of course because i haven't given myself a "free" this whole time! i SUCK!! so yesterday i looked back at my first few weeks in my food journal and realized how i was eating and how i had back-slid to where i am! so i am back on track and lost just under 2 pounds! amazing how that worked! my motivation is back! i just needed to realize what i was doing wrong and kick myself in the a** to get moving again! AND see the results of the CARB MONSTER!!! UGH!!!
