No weight loss, but you know, no weight gain. I am in a bit of a blue mood, my last pony (thoroughbred horse really) has been sold and is moving onto an awsome life being a therapy horse for leukemia patients. He will love it and the people who are around him will love him. I know all of this, but I am still blue. It is the end of an era and hopefully a new one for both of us.

No loss No Gain is a good thing, but I also know how frustrating that can be when it goes over more than a week or 2 or 3(in my case). I know it is a tired phrase, but just hang in there!
Sorry about your blue mood. I understand how it is to have to let go of a beloved animal friend even though he is going to a wonderful family/life. I have a friend that trains therapy dogs from puppies. Shes wanted me to home train them for 1 year and then give them up. I just can't do that, but she has others that are very good at it.
It is wonderful that your horse is going to such a wonderful family, life being a therapy horse. I think all our domesticated animals are so much happier when they have a rewarding job. Even my dog when she comes to work with me (she doesn't do anything special at work) but she feels that is her job and is very happy there. Now my cats..... I think they feel their job is just to act special and have me fill whatever need they have at the time, lol! Will the family send you pictures of your pony at work from time to time and/or maybe have pictures or stories that the patients might write about him? That would be so special and I would love to hear about it.
