Well, this was a very nice surprise. I did eat less than usual yesterday since it was a Jewish holiday. I did not totally fast during the day opting for an Atkins strawberry shake in the morning since I had a way to drive both directions. But I ate a lunch type meal after with lots of salad, fruit, tuna, half a bagel and a WW Cookies and Cream Pop when I got back to my house. I think the loss will stick. I am pretty happy with the progress so far, but it is early in the program where I have the most to lose. I want to see what happens when I lose another 20 pounds, bringing me to my lowest in over 23 years. I hope I can still lose weight then. I just read another one of those horrible articles about obesity. I fall in the category of having no problems related to it physically but still considered very or morbidly obese. Looking at me you would not say that, but on a chart, that is what it is. I just need to keep focusing on the fact that I am eating in a very healthy manner. If I weren't such a lazy bum, and exercised heavily a few times a week, I know I would be better off. Granted, I have foot and back problems, but I know I should still do it. We shall see if I can push myself to do this in the fall when I am back from my vacation home and can join the gym I wanted to join. To set the record straight, I was working with a trainer a few times a week at my local gym the last time I tried to actively lose weight and not just watch my weight. It made no difference in my look or weight loss speed. I just enjoyed working with a trainer. It is something I know I must do if I want to live a long life.
