Rats! According to my keto sticks, I had a run of five days out of ketosis and just got back in yesterday. Although my total calories should have resulted in a small loss of weight and my net carbs were fairly restrained, my weight has drifted up a bit. I hope I'm not one of those people who can't handle 30 net carbs without gaining! Staying down to 20-25 net carbs is tough, especially now that my strawberry patch and peach and nectarine trees are producing wonderful fruit! I've been trying to limit myself to about 5 strawberries and about 4 ounces of peaches per day. I'm not able to exercise much because of my arthritis--just getting around with a cane or walker takes up most of my energy. It is a beautiful day, though, so maybe I can get in the pool to swim some laps. Even if it doesn't burn very many calories, it always makes me feel better if I can swim!
