200.2 today....so, so close! Hard to believe I was 206 just 4 days ago, I knew it was the sodium. That's why I like to eat at home...I can control ingredients, and that appeals to the control freak in me. :) I do think exercising first thing in the morning again is making a difference...it is much better for my metabolism to work out before breakfast rather than later in the day.
Today I have to have my annual bone density tests, so I will spend a good part of the morning at the doctors office. I will probably take half a South Beach Diet meal replacement bar for my mid-morning snack, since yogurt would seem to be a bit impractical. Wish I had bought bananas at the market yesterday, that would have been ideal.
Dinner tonight...stir frying some chicken, onions, and bell peppers, and serving them with brown rice and some fruit for dessert.

Back below where I was when family arrived two weeks ago! Weighed 201.2 this morning. So close to being under 200 again I can just taste it. lol Sticking to my vow to work out every day this week....yesterday it was all Wii Fit though, played some fun fitness games and a little Wii Golf with my daughter. Today I already did my 30 minutes elliptical. Now, time for some breakfast, which I think will be oatmeal with blueberries. Salmon for dinner tonight...not the biggest fish fan, but try to have it at least a couple of times per week. Salmon and tilapia I find okay, maybe a little tuna fish now and then. It's a good day, feeling good about things.

202.4 today...Yes! Confirms my suspicions that too much sodium was the culprit! Still intent on working out all week this week, but instead of the elliptical I think I'm going to do a little Wii Fit today. Maybe a more "fun" kind of workout...a little Wii golf driving range, some ski slalom, etc. Didn't have any craving issues yesterday. I did eat a hamburger and sweet potato fries at the movie tavern...didn't add cheese, and loaded it up with veggies. Pretty sure my calories were still under 1500 for the day, but it was a lot of starch, though. I cut out the brown rice from my dinner plan in order to make up for it. Ended up with chicken tenders, salad, and green beans for dinner with fresh strawberries for dessert. Amazing how much sweeter fruit tastes when you aren't eating foods with sugar in them.
Today's plan...wheat blend blueberry pancakes w/sugar free syrup and a scrambled egg for breakfast, tuna salad sandwich on lite wheat bread and a piece of fruit for lunch, and I'm making turkey chili for dinner (which I will have with a few wheat crackers, a salad, and some fruit). Feeling pretty good today, hoping I can be back under 200 by sometime next week!

As I thought, the weight is coming back down pretty quickly after last weeks less than stellar efforts during family visits. Yesterday 206. Today, 203.4. I was 201.6 when family arrived, so got a little ways to go to be back where I was, but I'm confident I can do it fairly quickly. Stayed totally on my plan yesterday, including a workout. Planning to work out this morning as well. Only tricky part is going to be eating at a movie tavern for lunch....I'm studying the menu trying to figure out what to eat. They have a ham and spinach panini on sourdough that sounds pretty good...but it's served with fries. Hoping I can find something to substitute for those. Dinner tonight will be grilled chicken tenders marinated in light Italian dressing, served with veggies and brown rice.
