I've never gone 2 weeks in a row without a loss before. Don't want to give up my exercise which I've greatly increased but sure would like to see the scale drop!

There was a show on last night called Secrets of the Mind that I found very disturbing. They are now doing brain surgery to help people lose weight! For obese people who have tried everything including stapling or lap band they can now get brain surgery to lose weight. They place two electrodes in your brain and two pacemakers in your chest that control the electrical shocks. They can speed up your metabolism and control your cravings so you lose weight.
I was left with the feeling that we have no control over anything in our lives. We are merely puppets for our brain which controls us. We do not have to take responsibility for anything we do because our brain made us do it! Any addiction whether to drugs, gambling, pornography or food is because of our brain!
I find it very scary that brain surgery may become the new weight loss fad.
