Hello,

I am a 5'10" former model, dancer, cheerleader and athlete (track star). I joined Fat Secret on December 27, 2011 with the hopes that it will provide support, encouragement, and advice for my newly constructed weight loss plan. When I reached 300 pounds, I was in shock, ashamed and embarrassed. For most of my adult life, I weighed in around 125 pounds. Working for Corporate America has changed my focus and priorities; therefore, I lost sight of ME.

My plan for 2012 is to refocus and take a good look at myself. I set up a structured diet and pray that it works. I plan to use meal substitutions for breakfast and lunch, train myself to drink a gallon of water per day, and drop 158 pounds by year end. My very supportive husband purchased a triple crock pot for me and I will place protein, veggie, and starch/carb in the three crocks in the morning before work. When I get home, dinner will be complete! I will not eat three crocks of food.....LOL ..... I have specific measurements and plan on a 300 - 400 calorie dinner.

I have my gym memberships set up. One at work (mornings) and one near my house house (evenings).

My list of things to buy includes a tape measure and a good scale. I am BEYOND ready to shed these pounds and record my progress.

In addition, I would like to write a book in 2012. It will reveal highlights of my weight loss, but the major factor will be the most effective ways to DE-STRESS! I am attempting to record a total transformation of myself; mentally, physically, emotionally, monetarily, and of course, spiritually.

I plan to lose 150 lbs in 365 days and I realize that my eating and LAAAAACK of exercise are out of control. I will be finishing up my MBA in March, so that is one source of stress out of the way. I have big plans to keep my mind stimulated. I hope I can sense overload and recognize when too much is too much. I am praying for strength and perseverance.
