I tried the Bulletproof diet about a month ago, and immediately felt healthier and stronger. Long-standing joint inflammation subsided so that I could resume vigorous weight-lifting and cardio. My body heat also normalized, so that I was not cold, even in damp and chilly weather. After a few weeks, I began eating too much protein and not enough fat and vegetables (I live alone, and grilling a steak is much easier for me than cooking veggies or remembering to consume butter and coconut oil), and I had a gout attack. I ate vegan for a few days and felt better in the joints but became weak and unable to keep up at work. Now, I'm trying Bulletproof, again, but will try to eat 50% of my calories as fat so I don't get gout or feel hungry and binge on carbs.
