did a weigh in today, gained 1 lb depressed because thought I was doing good.
on retrospect not really.

some of my "good" food choices were not good. I was over in carbs. I am not into the keto diets etc. but I wanted to keep my carb level no more than 50 a day. did the food tracking and noted that my chobani yogurt ( health choice I thought) was 22 carbs. so that one choice was 1/2 my carbs.

I confess I am lazy, I hate sitting at the computer tracking food, so I did not track. It is clear that if I had taken time to track I would have seen my food choices more clearly.

I know these truths already: Portion control, lower carbs, exercise and track your food. For some unknown reason I feel the need to challenge each of these and the results are the same and predictable -- you gain weight.

I will congratulate myself for owning my behavior and not staying in denial.

New goals for week are :

track food every day
exercise minimally 3 x week
portion control every time

been there, done that! Mind over matter, get in your mind, it matters! :) It has taken me a while (years), but I did it. Keep at it, keep trying.
