Inspite of recent successes, I almost fell victim to my Achilles' Heel, when it comes to food. My family has been going to a particular Chinese restaurant, in Windsor, Canada, for the past 45 years; because the food is just that good. With vistors still in town, they picked now, as the time to go there. I came very close to saying 'what the heck, let me just go', but my brother reminded me that just about everything we'd be eating would be filled with carbs, and being carb free, it wasn't in my best interest to go; to which I had to agree, and decided not to go. Whew! It's strange,that the person who seems to be the least supportive of the LCWOE, would suddenly become an allie. I'll thank him later. LOL I settled for a mixed salad and a couple of pan grilled pork chops, with mushrooms, green onions, and a splash of teriyaki sauce; also very delicious. I guess I'll have to wait, until I get to my ultimate goal weight, to make it back to that restaurant; then it won't be so much of a threat.
