Todays Lunch/Dinner. Moroccan cous cous, Moroccan meatballs, Tomato/feta/red onion salad, hummus (I ate half... it was to much food but I thought want that much), pita round (I had to put most of these back I ate 1/3 of one). It turned out really good.

Thank you SargOn, it was super tasty I was so pleased with the meal I had never cooked any kind of Moroccan food before. I was a bit nervous but I'm really glad that I tried cooking it I'll definitely have to try some other dishes in the future. I was very surprised that the couscous had raisins and nuts in it but it complemented the tomato base very well. I did have to make a spicy reduction to cut the sweetness of the recipe because I found it way too sweet for my tastes. I found that the original recipe called for more cinnamon that I thought was necessary I found in the comments that a lot of people said that their husbands that were from Morocco actually preferred bay leaves and more cumin then cinnamon and I found that I also prefer this as well. For my reduction to cut the sweetness I did not have harassee so instead I use hot salsa that I then reduced with roasted tomatoes and sauteed onions as well as additional cumin, turmeric, and garlic, with a little chilly oil. I found this really made a delicious unami flavor that was a bit spicy sweet with a little bit of heat that really left a lot of flavor but not too much sweet which I felt was very good but still had some trueness to what I believe to be the spirit of what it was supposed to taste like. I felt that the yogurt sauce really helped bring out the flavors by cleansing the palate I also realized that the fresh green onions and cilantro that I put on the top. I do think that I should have undercooked the meatballs that I sauteed in the sauce I think where I fully cooked them and then sauteed them in the sauce that made them a little bit more tough than they original recipes Creator intended they were very tasty but upon reheating they weren't as tender as I think that they were supposed to be. No grated the guys didn't notice of course but I think that they were intended to be soft almost fall apart meatballs where is they were more traditional like what you would find in spaghetti meatballs the way I cook them. I'm not sure if the feta salad was traditional for the meal I just wanted to salad around it out and since nothing was offered that was green with a recipe except for carrot lemon salad and I had no idea where I was going to find lemon ginger dressing at the last minute and I did not have lemon juice on hand only Ginger I just kind of made that as a side. But I definitely enjoyed the recipe I want to try it again.
