Feeling pretty accomplished today as sad as it is with my completed tasks. A lot of days I'm not able to do a lot after I complete my eight hours and 30 minutes of work beyond just cooking dinner for myself and the children and getting everyone's baths. But over the last couple days I've gotten in about 4 hours of really good detail cleaning of the house I made a lot of progress. During this time my husband had committed to doing the housework. And as a result to the house has become well close to an episode of Hoarders, lol. I appreciate his hard work and efforts greatly, but I'm afraid that they were inadequate and the children out passed his work. With school quickly approaching my window of opportunity is dwindling and so I feel the pressure to get the house nice and tidy and all of the junk removed. Unfortunately I've discovered some issues that will need to be taken care of quickly so I need to get a lot of items out of the way as quickly as possible. This afternoon when taking my bath during a storm I noticed that apparently we must have some sort of leak in the roof because they were stripping coming out of the vent. Although it will be a quick call to the landlord I want the house to be nice when the maintenance comes in to fix it because I assume that it will be a pretty detailed fix I know they will not be able to fix the roof for the next few days because it will be off and on raining. But with three small children messing about it'll be harder to get everything the way I want it as quickly as I need to without any help and three darling helpers going behind me destroying it. It disappoints me that I have to be so happy with such a small win but these days sometimes I have a hard time sitting up for long periods of time. If you had told me a year ago such a small thing would have ever tired me out I would have laughed but these days sometimes it really is a stretch after work to sit up to read or watch television. Which makes it harder for me to continue the strength training that I had wanted to do this summer to work on my abs and core training. But after I get all my detail work on the house done I plan to get back to that now that I've had some time to recover.
