I think I am finally figuring out some of the additional benefits to the site and tracking. I need to go back over the last week and add in some "exercise" items. I never took into consideration my work time and the calories burned.

For example today, I worked 8 hours. I am a deli manager and though some may think it is not a strenuous job, some days it is. I made platters today, did the morning fry for food services, put away product in freezer... I never took any of that into consideration for calorie burn.

After inputting just that, and still yet to put in my steps done today, I am in a serious deficit for calories out compared to in today.

Just not really hungry. More tired from the day. On a positive note, I hit my water intake goal for the day. Yay me! Have I mentioned I really don't like water? To bland. And the tap water here is not good.

Have you tried adding a mint tea bag or some other type of herbal tea you like to your water? If you're not adding calories or caffeine, I don't see how it would hurt anything. (Confession: I actually drink mostly coffee and do just fine )

Adding water was one of the hardest things I added to my weight-loss regimen (exercise was the hardest). I drank solely Diet Coke - about 3 liters of it a day. Now I only drink three 12-oz cans a day, but I also get in 8 cups of water most days. Good job on starting your water habit!
