OMG!!! I knew it! My official weigh in day is every Monday but I felt heavier and couldn't wait and....sure enough, I gained 6.4 pounds since my last weigh in. I have been off the horse and it pisses me off!
I pulled some muscles doing lat pulldowns and bench presses and haven't had a single workout since. And with the extra hours I've to spend at work, I haven't even thought of anything nutritious to eat. Frankly, a drawback to my job is I take clients out to dinner or drinks; part of the job. But I did before as well and watched what I ate and drank. Maybe I let this getting hurt effect me too much and let it throw me off my routine which was going so great. FRICKIN EXCUSES! But I am reminded of what Zig Ziglar said..."It’s not what happens to you that matters. It’s how you respond to what happens to you that makes a difference." I will respond by doing it whatever way it takes.
I guess cardio for the next few weeks is the way I must go since the doc says that it will take 3 weeks. Ugh!!
So here I am 15 pounds higher than I was a couple of months ago but I have to get back on track. Maybe taking Part of Sunday to prepare on the go meals is something that I must do.
