Well, I am up early as my body is stuck in the getting up early routine. Maybe that's good though. I also have gotten my daughter's head cold and so my nose is running, my throat hurts, and my ears are itchy (at least they don't hurt). Since my throat hurts I think I will stick to soft foods and soup. This morning I tried a k-nourish hot breakfast cup my SIL gave me. It was delicious. I also tried my coffee black before adding anything to it and go in I liked it so I can eliminate some calories and sugar there. I threw in some Clementine just to round everything out, besides a little vitamin c can't hurt.

I have kept up my exercise all week. Wednesday and Thursday I didn't get a walk in as even though I am not traveling I am still running around like a chicken with her head cut off. I got to my zumba class on Tuesday though and did 30 mins of toning/cardio while my daughter napped after school yesterday. I don't know how today will unfold as I still have some running to do and am feeling under the weather, but might try to at least go for a walk with the puppy and my daughter.

Good job! I remember i started losing my first 3 kilos by following a diet i found on Special K...I used to find it very convenient just giving me a structure of what i can eat...then I found FS and realised i was consuming alot of sugar so i started making small changes, but Special K and their website started me on my weight loss program. Good job for trying black coffee with no milk and sugar - small changes all count! get well soon!

I wish I could get up early, but not with the head cold. Sounds like you've started the day off right with a good breakfast, but don't overdo it and make the head cold worse. A walk would be good, get some fresh air, and not push yourself too hard. I hope you are feeling better soon!

I managed to go for a walk even though my daughter started shinning halfway through. I also was feeling better this afternoon, so I did 30 min of JM however I did the beginner version. Thanks for the well wishes.
