Try adding some Old Bay Seasoning when you cook the cod. Works for me with other fish.

I would throw some lemon, pico de gallo, or/and hot sauce on that cod! =)

I thought that it amazing too ... wow. Tartar sauce and lemon goes good with cod. You had me at feta cheese.

It is true that fats are considered high in calories and if you are counting all CI and trying to stay under your stated CI level - Fats use up a lot of calories ... but fats in the diet are essential for transporting vitamins and minerals - they are a requirement. I always fall short on my required fat intake per day..... but for the short term while I get the weight off - I am choosing to take the minimal amount of required fats in the diet at this time.

Personally - I am using a lot of steamed water while during any pan frying rather than the usual fats and oils...I use the fats/oils in my salad dressings.

Thanks everyone. I do have a lot of cod in the freezer. I'll "keep at it", with your GREAT suggestions. Steam, some Old Bay (and a little grass fed butter) coming soon. 👍
