hey, just noticed my Passion for Baking Cookbook to the left of the new fridge on the counter! One of my son's gave me that at Christmas! After a little awkward moment...I figured out he was joking... when there were two tickets to go out to a Boston Celtics game tucked inside! (course he knows I am low carbing...so he had me wondering...)
as for the rest of the kitchen...well, like I said...it's a 200 yr old house. Eventually it will all need a face lift. Just glad it was the refrigerator's turn! :)

Your son is funny lol.
In your photo's I especially like the note with the delivery time on the old fridge, the anticipation is part of the fun. The appliances look so wonderful and are symbolic if you want them to be as far as out with the old and in with the new as you are appreciating the old house and doing the maintenance of the whole! TOWANDA!!!!

thanks everyone... I just have to scroll up...and smile...! It even has cool LED lights that come on when you open the doors... the old one's light burned out years ago! We always just fished around in the dark in there LOL!

Great that you have your new appliances in! Looks sharp! Glad you are no longer blindly feeling for your goodies in the fridge. That would be pretty frustrating, over time. Now these pics lead me to just one question: One big question. You were so excited about your new fridge arriving - and we, your buddies, asked for pics. Now, will you be doing the same with your new bras? You know we'll all want to see what you picked out, girlfriend. I mean, we can't go out shopping WITH you and all... LOL

Hey Evie... that would be a NO! I am not the Victoria Secret's kind of model type! LOL! I could post a pic w/ it on under something...but that would sort of defeat the purpose ... ??? Although I was thinking about taking some dressing room shots of bathing suits this year... and being brave enough to post them so you could all help me choose! What do you think of that??? Last year I bought two suits...and I didn't wear one of them most of the summer. (ended up not really liking it 'in use' after the first time of wearing it). So, rather that waste money... I thought it would be nice if I could take my buddies shopping with me... so your suggestion just sparked a great idea! Think I might make a game out of it or something... LOL! We'll see!

Paula, love the fridge and it's very similar to mine! Love the drink and ice dispenser in the door! Use mine all the time! All my appliances are stainless still and I go though loads of baby oil getting them fingerprint free, but it's well worth it!

baby oil? huh? they told me to just use warm soapy cloth, then wipe with clean warm water, then a dry towel. Or use windex w/ papertowel. Used the windex on the dishwasher, and it looks all streaky! now what?

Baby oil but just a small bit! Rub it in then wipe off with a clean towel! Works wonders and smells nice! Works on all stainless steel! I use to be a cleaner and picked up all sorts of little tips along the way!

The baby oil does work great but I don't use it all the time, maybe just once a week when I do my housecleaning. For a quick every day spritz, and yes you will need them with kids in the house, I use a product called Weiman's I think it is called. Also, always use a clean cloth, not a paper towel. I have only seen it in the hardware store, not grocery stores. Absolutely no on the soap or the windex, those are probably the worst!

That would be great, Paula - what a good idea. One sort of needs the opinion of a friend (or five) when getting a bathing suit. And you do know, (yes?) that I was compeleting kidding in regards to the bra pic inquiry. That would be kinda of shocking and way too embarrassing. LOL
