Wore the famous gray suit today.. And... Its getting a bit to loose on me.. !! Still dont know what my weight is.. I think Im avoiding the scale being that I guessed at my start weight.. and I know that if the numbers come back that Im not happy with.. It may hurt my momentum..

do it. hop on the scales. You don't have to tell anyone. I did this on 6th January. I was so shocked. I had been kidding myself. It upset me for a whole day. Lay on sofa feeding myself cheese bagels, moaning and crying and generally being a giant pain in the arse. January 7th I got up and that was it. Took a couple of excruciatingly unflattering photos, stuck them on the fridge, booze cupboard and biscuit jar and have lost almost 24lbs in 6 weeks. Im the kind of person that needs tough love. I will find any excuse in the book for my weight and even more excuses not to exercise. If you have a number to start with, then you can be super smug when you lose a few pounds xxxxx

If you arent ready to jump on the scale... You do not have to! There are more ways to measure your success. for example.... 1) how do your clothes fit? (Obviously doing great there) 2) how has your energy level increased/decreased? 3) tape measure so you can track inches lost. Eventually there will come a time when you are ready to face that scale. Im addicted to the scale... Wish I didnt feel the need to check my weight 10 times a day!

The scale can provide motivation :) you cant measure how far you have come if you don't know where you started.

While they say you should only weigh yourself once a week, it has been shown that people who weight themselves daily after they lose their weight tend to keep it off. Using it is the key. I also weigh daily during a cut. It works for me.
