Happy New Year!!
I've been a little absent from the journaling, and I've been a little lax on recording my food, but as my good buddy Lady Bea stated in her journal, this is a New Year and a New Life!!!
My New Years Resolution every year is the same thing, and it is really easy to keep, and has wonderful side effects!! Make one person a day smile!!! How easy is that!! It does have wide reaching effects too!! This year I will amend that resolution, and to add, this year I will continue to eat sanely, and moderately!! I will eat what I please, and I will get as much exercise as my lungs will allow me! I am hoping to get at least a 90 day membership to the gym I have been going to. I haven't been there recently. There have been some little reasons for not going, and they have been giving me a little bit of a work out themselves!!
I hope everyone has had a great holiday season!! I know me and the hubbs did!! I really didn't even overdo the food!! I'm making a nice pork roast right now in my pressure cooker, and will be having my version of a green bean casserole, cauliflower and cheese sauce, and bavarian sauerkraut. The hubbs will have his mashed potatoes. I found a wonderful bottle of elderberry wine too, and its made locally. It tastes wonderful!! I just may have a half wineglass for supper!! I love having a quiet New Years at home, and I also like going out, but I do like that we opted to stay here this year!!
I think I will commandere the computer today...lol...and make a nice little poster to hang in my kitchen of Lady Bea's "New year, new life" quote. Have a wonderful, new year everyone!!
