I know how you feel.. I only lost 2 lbs this year. We'll do better this year. I have a good feeling that it was because there was a 13 in the year. Have a safe New Year.

Mom - like I told you in your journal - your enthusiasm is contagious! My boss just offered my my choice from a huge selection of gourmet chocolate and I turned him down! Last week I would have knocked him over getting to it.

YAY on turning down gourmet chocolate. Not sure if I could have done that. If it's decadent and worth it... I do it. I am bad that way. So far, I have been trashing all kinds of goodies around the house. Even trashed some Keto fudge I made. It was low carb but it triggered my carb monster. Might have been what started my Christmas binging. It's all in the past. OVER! We look forward from now on. I am so proud of you for turning down the chocolate. :)

Mom - Same here. Anything that tastes like sugar makes me tend to seek out the real stuff. One of my goals for the New Year is to try to learn to enjoy the taste of food just the way it is - easier said than done!
