Bad day today. Didn’t get much done at work, but sometimes helping someone out is more important. Then we had a meeting. One coworker spent the whole meeting whining, then tried to make cheap personal attacks on me. I was mad, but did a good job keeping my cool and rising above her. I just snapped at her a little by correcting her, then shut her down by explaining that everyone has to make sacrifices and how lucky we really are. Our Dean jumped in to offer more examples of how other people on campus have it worse. Boo-yah! :) I just don’t understand why she can’t be a team player.
