Good morning everyone! I wanted to record a journal today as I finally have reached the 160’s! Although my official weekly weigh in is not until Thursday, I’m optimistic that I’ll remain here (this morning it’s 168.8). I turn 50 this Friday and can say I’m not even worried about reaching one of the most dreaded age brackets. Still using insulin daily (although at a much lower dose), and have come to terms that my family inherited diabetes is just not going to go away with diet and a new WOE. My husband who is the reason we started this new journey is completely off all his diabetes drugs and has gotten his A1C down to 5.4! In just 2 months! I’m so happy for him, but also tease him that he had fake diabetes 😂😂😂.
