I don’t know how the scale went down...I have been struggling the last week or two. My eating habits have taken a dive into carb laden foods and sugary treats. I am mad at myself and feel yucky. I really fear regaining the weight I’ve lost—I’ve done that before—more than once. I don’t want to start over again but I am on that path and must get off quick. Every day I tell myself I’m going to do better and then I don’t. Time to find my self control (it ran away when I least expected it to) and get back on track. Thanks for always being there for me even when I’m not there for myself🙂

wright! Your comment brought some tears to my eyes...you might be right. I’ve never been good with change and big changes are coming for our family. My oldest and I are really close and I will miss him even though I’m so happy and excited for this adventure he’s heading into. I have continued with the gym—I’ve gone 7 times now! I hope to get there tomorrow or Saturday. It has thrown me off a little too though being extra tried and sore and more hungry after workouts. I hope I adjust to it soon. Momma6224, Try looking at it one day at a time, and forget the long term goal. Just say "TODAY, I will eat well! Today I will meet my goal. Let tomorrow worry about itself!"

@Momma6224 guaranteed that 1lb is water weight & possibly combined with increased glycogen due to your carb intake, more so if you haven’t had much/any carb related foods in the last few weeks, so if you were in a calorie deficit by the end of the week you’ve most likely still lost some weight to some degree! (even if the scale and/or mirror shows otherwise it’s very common, happens to me also, weight can be counterbalanced from these annoying issues) and furthermore even after eating the carb foods (which may include higher sodium intake as well, the smallest amount of salt for example makes us retain water very easily) so, I wouldn’t even worry at all, your progress is fine and you’re doing good, just keep at it and you’ll reach your goal in no time dudette 👍🏻

Well done! It’s ok to be human 🤗 You’ve done a great job and look amazing.. Like me, there are a lot of changes in your kids lives and hence yours at the moment... and busy busy busy... But think of the family photo.. the kids are your greatest achievement... so enjoy this time , celebrate how far you’ve come and get back on it 😁👍

You are always so supportive of others... now think, what advice would you give someone else who admits they've strayed off the path? Then follow your own advice :-). You can do this, you know you can and no little hiccup is going to be allowed to undo all you've done. Just gotta pick the game back up and continue. You are going to win!

Thanks gaelicgal! I have come a long way since January but I’m so afraid I’ll slip back. This takes so much will power and I’ve felt that willpower slip the last couple of weeks. It scares me. Change is never easy for me and having the kids home for the summer is great but also an adjustment. I have to find my strong willpower again and get back to it like you said! Thanks so much for always supporting and encouraging me. You are an inspiration to me!!
