Spaghetti Squash with Turkey Meat Sauce

A surprisingly good meal that will make you forget you're dieting.

Anvisningar

  1. Cook squash in oven until soft. Remove from oven and use fork to make "spaghetti".
  2. While squash is cooking in the oven, puree tomatoes. Then put into medium sauce pan with fennel and heat on low for about 20 minutes.
  3. In a non-stick skillet, sauté garlic, onions and mushrooms until onions are soft. Then add ground turkey and coriander and cook thoroughly.
  4. Add the ground turkey mixture to the tomato sauce pan and let simmer for another 4-5 minutes.
  5. Put "spaghetti" on plate and pour sauce on top.
  6. Enjoy!

I rather enjoyed this meal! It filled me up better than I thought it would. I will keep this in my cookbook and make it many more times!

1 Pound of Ground Turkey/Beef is normally for 4 Servings. I use for 2 People only 1/2 Pound.

I gave this a two because you can't have turkey in Fat Smash Phase 1 BUT mayb with the veggie crumbles it will b just as tasting.. i will try it!

I think this sounds yummy and I agree that 1/2 of the serving would be MORE than enough. I do have one question/comment: I'm assuming the "1/4 cup of chicken stock" it to be pureed with the tomatoes to make the sauce? It is not mentioned in the steps...

This looks fantastic. I believe the servings are miscalculated. To the people complaining about the points for a serving, are you really going to eat a 1/2 of meat and a lb and a half of squash? i mean, come on. Get a half of a portion and cut your points in half again, and i still bet you wont be able to eat it all

Is two servings really accurate for this? That gives you a half a pound of meat per serving which is why the points are sooooo high. Like kfrancis, this is half of my points for the day :(
