Well haven't been here in awhile. I have had a life altering event go on. My husband has been in ICU at the hospital since 11/22/17 and he passed away on 12/04/17. this just turned my world upside down. I haven't taken any of my meds. or been on my diet since all this happened. But hopefully now I can get back to Fat Secret. Not a very good holiday season for me or my children this year.

Hi, Fire Ball. I don't know you, but my heart goes out to you. As a widow myself, I know there are no words to ease your pain. If your meds are for weight loss, then who cares if you take them or diet while dealing with the immediacy of this cataclysmic event in your family's life. However, if your meds are for other health conditions, I urge you to take care of yourself, at least for your children, even if you don't care about your own wellbeing right now. This is so very hard, unbearably painful, but how lucky you and your children are to have each other right now. I hope your husband had a wonderful life and you all had the best of times together. I hope you can see him in your children and eventually find some comfort in that. Surely, he would be grateful that you are there for your children when he can't be. He must have loved you all so very much. I will be thinking of you as you go through this difficult time. One day at a time. All you have to do right now is take it one day at a time. {{{hugs}}}

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't begin to imagine your pain. It will be a hard holiday season, so remember to ask for help when you need it, even if it's just a shoulder to cry on. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear this FireBall. This sucks. You and your family have my deepest sympathy. This will make the holidays hard, but hopefully with family around you can all lean on each other for strength and love.
