I'm trying to get back into a prior exercise routine after having heart valve replacement surgery
It was replaced early last summer. Before that, well, 6 months prior ( because my symptoms were worsening) I was regularly doing some intense dumbbell exercises, staying lean 14% bf at ~ 185 lbs. the cardiologist is mainly concerned with giving my sternum enough time to heal, and it's been 4 months now. I've been doing mainly a lot of cardio: walking, stairs and stepper. The valve itself should be no problem.
