Last night I gave myself time off from exercising (only did 15 mins) but I ate less, too.
Edited to note: Interesting. Per the Slow down diet, I paid very close attention to my smoothie at breakfast, and realized that I was full before I was done. So I put the rest away for consumption later in the day.
