Good news for my diet been eating normally but lots of manual labour.
Over the last four days I have completed the kitchen garden/patio area. We now have three large raised beds and four smaller ones plus a large area of gravel, an area woodchipped plus a decking patio - Many tons of soil were removed and a very long hedge was dug out. Started it all last year but project stalled over winter.
I now only have the front drive to refurb by cleaning the gravel of mud and weeds. Will be using a cement mixer (bought off ebay yesterday). At that point we will put the house on the market - Hoping to sell to move back to the Wantage area I have had enough of the burden of managing a large garden.
My written off car sailed through a new MOT with out any work (required for insurance) so that was pleasing - I essentially have a free car that will last a year or three more.
