Saturday and Sunday were total write offs. I needed a weekend off. Today I am back to counting calories and doing my workouts. I will lose the water weight in a couple of days.

Just like in auto racing, taking a pit stop from restrictions and protocols every now and then seems to be a good way to top up the fuel on the consistency engine, and put some new tires on the choices and decisions. At least, that’s what I find. 🏎️💨 😎

I needed a weekend off, but I don't want to do it for a while again. If I even do it. I find that I cannot drink anymore. I don't mind having a drink every now and then but not go out and drink as much as I did.

I feel the same way. I have always been a big craft beer drinker, and whiskey guy too. But over the last couple of years even that has nearly disappeared. April 21st was my first (and only so far) alcoholic beverage of 2024. It was nice. It was fun. But for me, and sounds like maybe for you as well, progress feels better than alcohol ever could at present. 🍻

I think I am done with drinking. A cold beer on a hot day sounds good but I don't need to have it. And now there are a lot of non-alcoholic beers to choose from if I really want beer.

I don’t know if you kike or have tried the “Olé” margarita drinks…but costco has the non alcoholic version now, and they are pretty tasty! 😋
