I haven't been on here for about 3 weeks, because my husband and I were in Scotland celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary!
I decided for the trip, I wasn't going to count calories, worry about food, and not stress if I couldn't make time to work out. For the first time since I lost the weight (about 8 years ago), I was going to spend more than a couple of days letting loose. Well, as you can see - I didn't gain anything. Thing is, we did a ton of walking and hiking in Scotland (I like hiking when there is a difference in the terrain - not just flat like where I live). Plus, there is so much good, fresh seafood in Scotland that they smoke or grill, no sauce, and veggies. I didn't eat healthy to eat healthy - I ate healthy because it tasted amazing!
Definitely an amazing trip, tons of memories. Back to reality, which includes working out regularly and eating healthy. But, I don't have any extra to lose, like I thought, so definitely a unexpected win!
