I have lost so much weight that I'm getting saggy skin :( but I am really trying to tighten up without bulking up, anyone have any ideas? I know walking is really helping with my legs and leg lifts for my thighs but what about my flapping arms! Oh I do not like them one bit.

Its just the dark down side of major weight loss. I have had some luck with itWorks body wraps (no I am not a sales person of the products but I am sure someone you know must be it seems like they are everywhere). It has been tightening my skin and reducing the look of my stretch marks. That said, saggy skin is still something you will have to deal with and over time (if you are younger) your skin may naturally tighten back up as well. Each person seems very different when it comes to skin. I totally get your frustration at finally being FIT and STRONG and still frustrated that you don't look exactly like you want. Just quiet the voices in your head that focus on the flabby arm and pay attention to the positive aspects of all your lighter body is able to do. Keep up the great work!!

You are a woman and to bulk out you would have to weight train for 5-6 hours a day, eat high protein and use steroids. Why is everyone so afraid of weight training? I used to deadlift 85kg on a regular basis and during that time I was smaller then ever before. Give it a go but start small and steedy to avoid injury :)

I am not exactly young anymore so I'm not sure if it will tighten naturally but I'm hoping some of it will Jennuine :) Schmetterling thank you so much for the positive information about lifting, I honestly haven't lifted since I was a teenager but I enjoyed it. I honestly don't know much about it so I wasn't sure what it's affects would be on my body. Thank you for letting me know that some lifting is not going to turn me into the hulk :P because I was really worried about that. You all are awesome! Thanks again

Women typically do not bulk out - you can use dumbbells for toning upper body - look at YouTube for correct form and exercises. I agree, weight training is the answer.

Thank you HCB :) I started doing some light weight training yesterday for my upper body. I have achy arms today but honestly it is comforting because I have faith that it is working and I will keep doing it and post if things start to tighten up.

Lifting will definitely help and you won't bulk up unless you take steroids... women just don't have the right hormones to get huge. If you build some muscle, your skin will appear tighter/less saggy. Great job on the weight loss!!

Ok don't laugh but if you're into videos at home Richard Simmons has a good toning tape. Its called Blast and Tone. You use free weights and it has toning and strengthening and abs segments. Its a good work out. It will help take out the sagging especially in the arms.
