Don’t feel bad, Christmas had the same effect on me. Can’t believe that you can gain 2 pounds on one day and take a week to lose it. 

Glad to hear you have kicked the boot. I have eaten so much the past few weeks I could probably go a week without eating anything and be okay. I am tired of rich food.  

YAY!!! 

My best guess is the cortisol released from the boot removal process and the inflammation as well is causing a temporary bump. I would continue normal routine and check back in a week all will most like have resolved. when I get sick and have to take steroids and things even before I take the steroids the inflammation always makes me gain weight it's just part of it I don't have a good explain to it or why it happens it just does.🤷 

JC,wondering what the fate was of those flip flops? I spent 8 weeks chopping mine up into tiny little pieces every time I got down 🤬 Doc thought it was hilarious! Have you looked into Boxing shoes? I think there's some good deals going on. 

I think most of us have had gains over the holidays. I’m back on track and hopefully I stay there! Glad you’re out of the boot! When are you allowed to start working out again?

The only New Years Resolution I ever stuck to was the one I made about 15 years ago...to never make another New Years Resolution. My journey to get healthy shall continue, holiday gains are just bigger speed bumps in an already rough road, I'm powering up my shock absorbers!!! Glad you gave the boot, the boot!
