Okay, a modest rebound after the fast. The 6.5 day fast dropped me 8.6 lbs. and 4.03% of my total weight. Now the trick is to limit the rebound and override the set-point effect. I'm sliding straight into 0 carb, carnivore.

WTG!!! I'm jelly, but I did not continue as carnivore and I got the water regain from my carbs, it is what it is, I will still drop, but not at the speed you guys will. Go get it!!

I'm going to join you folks for a 72 hour fast starting Weds evening. I'm feeling focused and determined to drive this weight loss down below my former floor. My upcoming birthday is an added incentive to get past the 200's and into wonderland. And then set goals to be at goal weight by my 70th birthday, next year.

Hoo Hoo - more good fasting news!! I just took my Blood Pressure reading and got the the lowest reading I've seen in many months!! This happened with my last longer fast, then it started creeping up again. I take BP meds, but they weren't working as well. Resting heart rate went down too.

Yes! Nice reduced blood pressure and resting heart rate. I am now at 54 for a resting heart rate, when I started back on keto and fasting it was 67. I'm also now on every other day HBP meds, Doc said to track daily and we might see about reducing the dose or eliminating it when I see her again in August. Don't you just love improvements that you can actually measure?
