Yesterday I went to the first party since I’ve been counting calories with tables full of snacks. It was challenging, and I probably looked weird pulling out my phone to log each mini-plate of food. It made me grateful to be a vegetarian and have only half as many choices to browse on. Only being up a tenth of a pound after that—feels pretty awesome.

I’m shy and out of practice at parties anyway, so at least it gave me something to do. But it makes me realize that I ‘lol probably have to keep logging for a few years, even after I reach my goal weight, if I want to be sure of my habits.
