So I went off my galvument and haven't had one since 2 days ago.
I didn't think it was doing anything.
It was: it was definitely impacting my blood sugars.
Now I'm floating around 14 mmol/l, a normal level is around 6.
I'm also feeling very high. Stoned. Caring and loving. That stuff.
So question: is my mood elevated because of high blood sugars, or because the anti diabetic medication was making me hella depressed?
I've been on antidepressants, which can impact blood sugar. And I've been on anti blood sugar, which may have impacted my mood. is this all some kind of bullshit merry-go-round?
I can either go back on the galvumet, or stay off the carbs and see where I end up. I think I'll stay off everything this weekend and see where I'm left. Reconnoitre on tuesday, see if I've lost more weight, see if I've got my sugars all used up.
see if I'm still this cheerful. Maybe it's time to go off the antidepressants too... (that's tapered, and careful, never go off psychoactive meds cold turkey.)
