Hallelujah the scale finally moved!! Not a lot, but I'll take anything.

I have a sore throat this morning, I hope I'm not getting sick. I've been using my neti pot, and for the past year I've dodged the sinus infections I typically get at the changing of the seasons.

My sister-in-law's mom died a week or so ago while my bro was under way in his sub. Now my brother-in-law's dad is on hospice with lung cancer, they don't think it will be much longer. My own dad just got a bad report from the doc about his kidney. My 1 year old nephew was in the hospital with pneumonia, and my 5 month old niece won't eat. So it's been kinda crazy around these parts.

But I have held strong to my healthier eating and exercise, even when the scale has shown no signs of budging in ages.

That's a lot to deal with all at once. Glad to hear you're staying strong with the food and exercise- definitely not easy with so many outside stressors. Hang in there! I'll keep my fingers crossed that aren't getting sick. I hate how much it can screw you up!
