Day 18

38.9% bf (41.8% new scale ) 43.3% tbw 28.5 bmi

The numbers don't pan out today. I lost a pound, but gained .1% body fat and lost .1% lean muscle mass or I am dehydrated. On the new scale, I didn't lose any body fat, but lowered my BMI. This is the first day that has happened. I didn't eat as much protein as I should have. I couldn't put another bite into my mouth and I only measured 3 ounces per meal. I need to eat 4-5 ounces per meal and keep my protein carb ratio at an even percentage. Today, 4 ounces of protein per meal or with a snack if it causes me to burst. The whole point was to lose body fat without sacrificing muscle mass.

I am also hungry today for the first time in 18 days. I may be experiencing HCG resistance. If this keeps up, I might have to stop at the 23 day course, complete the three week maintenance and take the six week break before trying again for the last 15 pounds.

I am just not made for the quick loss.
