Morning everyone, not logged in for a while , been struggling of late with OA - finally got a telephone call in March with a hip surgeon 👍..
I’ve tried loads lately to ease the pain -with nothing seemingly working .. krill oil and Epsom salts at mo ... anyone got any tips ??
Ie - smoothies to help with osteoarthritis or foods ? Heard turmeric shots might be worth a try 🤔

Most dieticians recommend oily fish.

My mother-in-law has lots of pain and she's been told that diet is essential to help her. She has loads of pills but was told wheat is highly inflammatory. Might be worth asking your doctor or a nutrionist if they agree and adjust to non-inmflamatory diet.

Last time I had hip pain I went off the diary and gluten and the pain was gone. 3 years have passed now. Still of diary and gluten but the trick for me was the diary and also I went off the wine.

Versus Arthritis have a series of videos called Let’s Move with Leon that you can sign up for. The exercises are very gentle and helpful with pain relief. The responses on their Facebook page have been very positive.
