Thankfully I got back to where I was, as I hated that "gaining 7 pounds per week" notice on my profile!

I think I'm pretty good about ignoring that stuff, but it was nagging at me all yesterday. And simply because I recorded a weight the previous day for a challenge and then recorded going up one pound yesterday, my normal weigh-in day. Because of that, the ignorant computer program comes up with this nonsense that I gained one pound - in one day - so I must be gaining 7 pounds per week! You'd think there'd be some way to correct that and maybe take a weekly average or some other such measure that would be more realistic.

I know this is a common complaint that I've seen many members voice. For the most part, I just typically ignore what the FS computers come up with. But, I guess because there are some people who I follow closely that are doing exceptionally well right now (while I always seem to be a day late and a dollar short) that the "gaining 7 pounds" crap got to me more than it otherwise would.

I'll get my head around this; I know weight loss is not a competition, despite reality shows! Getting back to my halfway point certainly helps.

I'm glad I got my walking in this morning as it's been pouring rain now for about half an hour. I walked 3.1 miles, bringing my weekly total for the 50-miles-in-30-days Challenge to 6.1 miles and my running challenge total to 42.8 miles. There are about 10 days left.

I had changed clothes to try to do the lawn prior to the rain, but missed the opportunity, as the rain came up too quickly. Everything is too wet now, so even if it lets up, the lawn will have to wait.

The Pre-Christmas Challenge, part 1 ended Sunday and I lost 13 pounds compared to the challenged 15 pounds. Not too bad. But I'm disappointed that the second half of the challenge appears to be MIA. I PM'd the admin but no reply as yet. The other holiday-theme challenges have a higher weight loss rate than I feel comfortable with, so I guess if I want to try to drop 15 by Christmas, I'll just be on my own.

Thanks Stef. I'm actually looking into that as there's been no reply from the previous challenge's admin. I looked at his/her profile and there's been no activity since 8/25 or thereabouts.
