I don’t believe this number for a second. I’ve done nothing to lose weight and I’ve over eaten by 500 kcal a couple days this week so I should’ve gained a bit.

In the last day my RENPHO scale shows I lost 1.8#, .6% BF, .5% subcutaneous fat, .6# LBM, .6# muscle mass and gained 0.3# water and .3% SMM. I think it’s not really reading me but just using a formula for each category based on a weight.

That is what I love about this app as opposed to the one I used for about a year when I left this one. When I overate using the other one - I gained. I can overeat a few days on this one but as long as I stay under the range for the week and month, I am down!

I noticed a scale of mine was using a formula based on height and weight for body fat percentage, rather than impedance. Careful reading of instructions revealed careful wording that was misleading but not a lie.
